jumping to unread posts ?

I'm on ... well more then a few forums on line and and I cant seem to find a feature on this one ... maybe I'm just missing it ..

when I read a thread  (a long one . like Bitch build , or Flex  or the Artist wanted one) is there a way to just jump to the new posts on that thread  since I last read it ?   I know to use the  Unread button for all threads .. but I want to JUST find the where i left off Reading in those longer threads

(did I explain that right ? )

Yes, instead of clicking on the topic/thread title, click on the 'new' icon and it will take you to the first unread post :)
