What's the new "Reputation Power" ??
Is this like a better version of Karma?

100% correct.

Going to reset all the reputation points later tonight, and explain a little more in detail how its going to work. It essentially lets you give feedback on a post, and give a reason. How many points given are based on how much rep you already have.

I'll be blunt.  I requested this because I think it's the fairest way to let Newbies know who the smart ones are and who's just talking out their ass.

People will be less likely to smite, unless they have a legitimate reason to back it up.

Hey Sorry after I reread what I wrote sounded kinda cowish lol. I didn't know how to give people Karma or Reputation points. I should have worded it "Who gives us reputation Points?? U guys??" But I figured it out by looking, imagine that lol.  ;D

Project on hold pending review

Yes. If i post that I think you're a moron and then go on to explain why I think you're a moron, everyone on the site will be able to read it and judge for themselves.

Alright good. Better than the old system of 'your right but I don't like you'

Exactly. That's the entire point of this project. To stop the petty bickering between children and make it about the facts.

LOL Comment for what's about to come.

If a couple ppl here don't like you, they're probably assholes. If NOBODY here likes you, YOU'RE the asshole.

A few ppl are about to learn that, I suspect, but denial is a powerful force.

And there is also time limits between how often you can give/take Rep, and you cannot give/take rep to the same person over and over.

Few more little things to finish ironing out and we'll be good to go ;)

this is a great idea!!! hopefully this stops the uninformed, unwanted "opinions" in the tech threads. it would be great to just get the answer for the questions that are asked! will people go into the red/negative rep if they're a real retard? lol
