If people insist on trying to recreate Stave up at Davis, the place is going to be shut down. It is presently designated as a recreation area, but that will most definitely change if the area is even more abused than it already is.
Have fun on the trail. Thrash the rocks and trail/road debris (and your trucks) all that you want. Keep out of the lake and those areas along the shore that hold plants, dirt, mud and anything that'll squish.
