About Us

Welcome to the British Columbia Jeep Club!

Since April 2007, we have been a non-profit organization, dedicated to free Jeepin' in the province of British Columbia. We have no organizing committee, no president, no council or elected members. As such we reject all forms of politicking in the off road community.  This website serves to spread knowledge, help individuals plan outings and to gather as much technical information as possible for free distribution to our members. We do not have a treasury and do not accept dues of any kind.  We do, however offer vehicle graphics and logo decals for sale, as well as occasionally offering club related apparel.  All of these items are not for profit as we are registered with Revenue Canada as a non-profit organization. This will not change.

The concept here is simple.  Use this website as a basecamp for your Jeepin' activities.  Visit, learn, teach, make friends and represent the off road community as best you can.

A few notes about our people:

We do not discriminate based on vehicle brand or type. Post up and come on out, even if you drive a Ford.

There are no "official" club runs.  Anyone can post for a date, time and location of their choosing and invite people to join in.

Anything you see posted on this site is public and you don't have to know anyone to show up. We welcome strangers.

This is not a social media website. It is expected that posts will be kept on the topics of off-road sport, mechanics and the Jeep brand.

The forums here do have an administrator and moderators, but they only serve to remove abusive posts, spam and organize the layout and direction of the website. There is no authority exercised over when, how or where individuals would or should meet.

Seriously! No spam and no solicitation!

This is not a democracy. There will be no politicking, no campaigning and no attempts to change this. If you do not like how we do things, you are welcome to leave. We won't be offended and we certainly won't insult you for your choice.

Have fun out there!
